Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Project Surveyor II to oversee survey documentation, calculations, and deliverables for multiple projects from an office-based lead role. You will lead coordination, prepare technical reports, and mentor junior staff while staying current with surveying trends and technologies.

This hybrid position involves 80–90% office work with some field involvement to support boundary verification and construction staking. Strong CAD skills and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or cert in Drafting/CAD/Engineering Tech or equivalent with 8+ years experience.
• HS diploma with 10+ years experience acceptable.
• NSPS CST Level 4 preferred; PS licensure preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support survey staff in planning, coordination, drawings, and calculations.
• Perform or lead exhibit drafting, survey calculations, legal descriptions and other deliverables.
• Gain experience across field and office surveying; manage boundary and staking tasks.
• Provide technical advice to clients and management; review survey documents.
• Create redline mark-ups and resolve client/project issues.
• Lead scheduling, teaming, mentoring, and performance reviews for staff.
• Prepare surveying project proposals and ensure CAD drawing standards.
• Coordinate with clients and other departments; attend client meetings.
• Oversee fieldwork as needed and ensure timely project completion.

Education

Associate's degree in Drafting / CAD Tech / Engineering Technology

High School Diploma with 10+ years related experience
