Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial HVAC and refrigeration projects in Anaheim, CA. The role oversees field teams, timelines, and procurement to ensure on-time delivery, with strong leadership and hands-on operations focus.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in HVAC/refrigeration or mechanical construction, with proven ability to manage large projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical construction.
• Strong field experience required; engineering-only backgrounds will not be considered.
• Experience managing industrial or large-scale commercial projects.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems (ammonia experience preferred).
• Familiarity with piping, welding, or pipefitting practices.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial HVAC and refrigeration projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate and oversee field teams, subcontractors, and project resources.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with internal teams including engineering and operations.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain clear communication between field and office teams.
