Job summary

Henderson Group in Naples, FL is seeking a Project Manager, Heavy Civil / FDOT to lead highway and bridge projects from start to finish. This is a full-time onsite role in the Naples area.

You will own budgets, schedules, subcontracts, pay estimates, and change orders, while coordinating with FDOT, CEI, inspectors and the owner to deliver safe, quality work on time. Qualifications

• 7+ years managing heavy civil highway, bridge, or DOT projects.
• FDOT project experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, pay estimates, and change orders.
• Clear communicator with owners, inspectors and the field.
• Willing to relocate to Naples, FL; SW Florida base preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own project budgets, schedules, and monthly cost forecasts.
• Lead project team of engineers, APMs, and field superintendents.
• Buy out the job and manage subcontracts, purchase orders and suppliers.
• Run monthly pay estimates, change orders and claims with FDOT and the CEI.
• Manage submittals, RFIs and project documentation through closeout.
• Plan the work with the superintendents and hold the schedule.
• Keep permits, licenses and contract requirements current.
• Drive safety and quality on every job.
• Report progress and risk to the owner and senior leadership.
