Job summary

The BioInspired Institute Project Manager at Syracuse University leads administrative, operational, and communications efforts to support a growing interdisciplinary research institute. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of progressively responsible admin, operations, or program mgmt experience.
• PMI certification (CAPM or PMP) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Institute, including office coordination, scheduling for the Director, and records management.
• Coordinate institute events, meetings, and outreach activities with internal and external partners.
• Manage financial and procurement processes in coordination with central offices and research administration.
• Support reporting, compliance, and cross‑institution coordination across partner schools and SUNY campuses.
