Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Chicago is looking for a Project Engineer to lead projects and mentor junior staff. The role requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in structural analysis and design.
• EIT required, PE highly recommended, SE preferred.
• Familiarity with seismic design and at least two lateral system types.

Responsibilities

• Direct junior staff and coordinate across disciplines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communicate with clients regarding project delivery.
