Job summary

Ferriot, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical projects from inception to production readiness.

You will provide technical leadership, manage budgets, and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and on-budget performance. The role requires strong knowledge of injection molding, tooling design, GD&T, and CAD, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Plastics/Polymer/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of injection molding processes and operation.
• Solid knowledge of injection mold tooling design and construction.
• Good working knowledge of engineering resins and drafting and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Intermediate CAD skills and ability to operate CAD systems for translating and viewing customer designs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects across disciplinary lines from inception to production readiness.
• Prepare cost estimates and customer quotations for tooling and support equipment.
• Review designs to identify manufacturability issues and quality improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and publish project timelines using IQMS and other resources.
• Develop project budget and manage financial performance of projects.
• Schedule and lead project review meetings.
• Coordinate with other departments to support projects.
• Maintain regulatory and company procedures with a focus on quality.
