Refocus LLC is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer to lead engineering development activities in a new product development environment in Clearwater, FL. The role emphasizes strong project execution, program management, customer engagement, and risk management while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in leading development teams, EVM proficiency, and a solid grasp of RCCA activities, Lean/Six Sigma, and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience leading development teams in an engineering environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead development teams in a new product development environment.
• Ensure project performance and successful execution.
• Manage customer relationships and communications.
• Develop and manage project schedules and milestones.
• Understand technologies used across various programs.
• Develop program and project cost estimates.
• Support baseline planning and development.
• Develop project metrics and provide status reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage project risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
• Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.
