Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead, Project Controls to act as the project controls lead for large or high-risk projects in Irvine, CA. You will coordinate cost and schedule activities and serve as the primary point of contact for project-level controls delivery.

Responsibilities include leading cost/schedule workstreams, interfacing with client stakeholders, identifying risks, and supporting reporting and oversight to ensure alignment with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and eight+ years of cost or schedule management experience on capital projects.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed environment and direct interface with client stakeholders.
• Expertise using cost and schedule management software and familiarity with relevant industries.

Job Title Lead, Project Controls, Project & Development Services Job Description Summary Acts as the project controls lead for large or high-risk projects. Responsible for coordinating cost and schedule activities and serving as the primary point of contact for project-level controls delivery.

Essential Job Duties

• Lead cost and/or schedule workstreams on complex projects.


• Coordinate inputs from analysts and schedulers.


• Interface directly with client stakeholders.


• Identify and communicate cost and schedule risks.


• Support Managers with reporting and delivery oversight.


• Ensure alignment with project controls standards.

Education/Experience/Training

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.


• Eight or more years of related experience in working as a cost or schedule management expert on capital projects, including design, construction and testing phases.


• Direct experience working on teams within a complex, matrixed environment.


• Expertise using cost and schedule management software.


• Experience within one or more of the following industries required: construction, life sciences, data centers, industrial or related technical field.


• Must possess exemplary communication skills – both oral and written.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 127,500.00 - $150,000.00
