Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a seasoned production supervisor to lead multiple shifts in a manufacturing environment. You will drive standardization, coach teams, and own continuous improvement initiatives across the Ford Production System.

Strong communication, leadership, and data-driven decision making are essential for success. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and building a culture of respect and safety while delivering department scorecard objectives and maintaining production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to interface with plant hourly and salaried personnel and plant management.
• Union negotiations experience.
• Validated ability to present in front of plant management.
• Ability to teach Ford Production System principles.
• Skilled in the use of data for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and confirm manufacturing operating system standards are applied and adhered to throughout the plant.
• Develop, coach, and support to achieve SQDCPME objectives.
• Coach, teach, and provide feedback on resolution of abnormalities, and validate closure of concerns.
• Provide necessary resources to maintain production flow and confirm critical inputs are performed to standard.
• Plan maintenance tasks, monitor completion and effectiveness, and drive improvement and coaching opportunities.
• Enable a culture of learning through effective communication and respect for all team members.
• Create a conducive work environment and proactive performance-driven culture.
• Ensure basic administrative responsibilities are completed.
