Job summary

Kerry Group in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly manufacturing teams, drive safety, quality, service and productivity, and coach operators to perform at their best. You will partner with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain and HR to solve problems, lead continuous improvement, and apply Lean methods to improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, food, beverage, ingredient, or consumer packaged goods environments.
• Experience leading large teams of hourly production employees in a fast-paced operation.
• Proven ability to improve safety, quality, productivity and engagement.
• Ability to hold self and others accountable for results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop hourly manufacturing teams with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive daily production execution to meet safety, quality, service, cost and productivity targets.
• Coach and develop employees through feedback, training, and succession planning.
• Champion food safety, GMP, HACCP and regulatory compliance standards.
• Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain and HR to solve problems and drive results.
• Lead root-cause investigations and Lean-based continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support workforce planning, labor optimization and production scheduling.
