Job Summary

Responsible for leading a group of associates involved in the production of products. Expedites operations that delay schedules and/or alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Resolves issues related to production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations. Ensures quality control standards are maintained. In addition to performing assembly line functions, also calibrates equipment and maintains tools.

Environment and Travel

Environmental job requirements: typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion (walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward).

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of all types of machinery.
• Two year technical degree in electronics or electrical design.
• Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
• Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.
