Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech cybersecurity team is recruiting a Principal Product Security Engineer based in Santa Clara, CA. You will secure connected medical devices, embedded platforms, and cloud services across the product lifecycle, leading security design, testing, and risk mitigation.

You will guide vulnerability management, perform security assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory alignment and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, product security, cloud security or related disciplines.
• Experience with threat modeling, secure software development, vulnerability management and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cybersecurity technical lead for complex medical device and digital health product development programs.
• Provide direction on security design, verification, remediation, and risk treatment activities.
• Drive security-by-design practices across the product lifecycle.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure development practices.
• Lead threat modeling and cybersecurity risk assessments for products and services.
