Résumé du poste

MaintainX, now part of Autodesk, is seeking a Lead Product Manager for the Core Division to own the templating service across assets, procedures, work orders and parts for large enterprise customers. You will drive the end-to-end design, hierarchy changes and release processes, partnering with design and engineering to ship foundational platform work while delivering customer-visible value each quarter.

The role emphasizes deep systems thinking, long-term roadmap ownership and hands-on discovery

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years of platform or core-product work at an enterprise SaaS company.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to reason about hierarchy, migration states and trade-offs with staff engineers.
  • Proven track record running discovery motions with design-partner sessions and evidence-based decisions.
  • History delivering multi-year foundational work while shipping customer-visible value quarterly.

Responsabilités

  • Own strategy, roadmap and execution for templates across assets, procedures, work orders and parts across multi-site accounts.
  • Consolidate three overlapping configuration systems into one registry with a migration path and deprecation plan.
  • Define semantics for update policies, publish flows, versioning and template rules.
  • Run design-partner sessions and translate findings into the roadmap.
  • Lead the hierarchy redesign from spec to validated model with additive, non-breaking changes for today’s two-level structure.

Description du poste

MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.

In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.

We're growing fast and hiring the Product talent to match. We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to join our Core Division. This role sits in the Enterprise Knowledge pillar, the team responsible for how large, multi-site customers define and govern their operational data. The pillar is building the Templating Service: the layer that lets an enterprise define a procedure, asset, work order or part once and cascade it to every site, with versioning, update policies and controlled publishing.

You'll own the Templating Service end to end, and as it matures, the redesign of the location and asset hierarchy underneath it.

What you'll do:
  • Own strategy, roadmap and execution for templates across assets, procedures, work orders and parts, taking the current design-partner alpha to GA adoption across multi-site enterprise accounts

  • Consolidate three overlapping configuration systems into one registry, with a migration path and deprecation sequence that strands no customer mid-move

  • Resolve the semantics this space is full of — update policies, publish and conflict flows, versioning, promoting existing records into templates — so teams building on top have settled rules

  • Run the design-partner program yourself: recurring customer sessions and prototype-driven discovery, converted into roadmap

  • Take the hierarchy redesign from spec to validated model — typed locations, N-level depth, functional positions that keep PM schedules alive through asset swaps — additive and non-breaking for customers on today's two-level structure

About you:
  • 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years of platform or core-product work at an enterprise SaaS company — entity models, permissioning, configuration frameworks, the foundations other products are built on, not the features on top

  • Deep systems thinking: you can hold a cascade/override policy or a hierarchy schema in your head, reason about cardinality and migration states, and argue the trade-offs with staff engineers as a peer

  • A real discovery motion — you run design-partner sessions yourself and let evidence overrule opinion

  • A track record sequencing multi-year foundational work while shipping customer-visible value every quarter

Nice to have:
  • CMMS, EAM or industrial operations background

  • Experience migrating customers off SAP PM or Maximo-class systems

Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.

Compensation and benefits.

Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. Belonging.

We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging. More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.
