Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Product Manager to drive new AI product capabilities across multiple teams. You will define product strategy, outcomes, and roadmaps for shared capabilities that enable scalability, performance, and innovation in our educational products.

The role is an individual contributor position requiring strong data-driven decision making, collaboration with design and engineering, and the ability to influence executives through clear communication.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as an IC product manager leading complex initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated systems-thinking and architectural fluency with cross-functional partners.
• Navigate ambiguity, make informed tradeoffs, and manage risks effectively.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and marshal resources to deliver impactful outcomes.
• Analytical, data-informed, translating insights into clear product direction.
• Experience solving complex problems with multiple constraints using data.
• Experience with enterprise, AI, and cloud architectures including API-driven systems.
• Built API-based services for internal and external customers; API commercialization a plus.
• Exceptional communication, translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Translate customer/business needs into documented requirements and solutions.
