Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Engineer to lead manufacturing-focused product engineering for analytical instrumentation.

You will own design execution for new products, sustain engineering, and VA/VE initiatives, collaborating with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management to improve manufacturability, reliability, and cost. This hands-on role requires experience with industrial field instruments and analytical systems, including pH/ORP sensors.

Qualifications

Experience with industrial field instruments and analyzers used in process industries.
Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field with strong design and manufacturing focus.
Experience performing GD&T, tolerance analysis, and drawing interpretation.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing-focused product engineering, owning day-to-day build issues and cost improvements.
Sustain engineering activities across released products, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Drive engineering change activities (ECR/ECO) and documentation control.
Lead product design for existing and new products, including prototyping and documentation.
