Job summary

Liquid I.V. is seeking a highly motivated, innovative Product Development, Associate Principal Scientist to join our R&D Product Development team in El Segundo, CA.

Reporting to the R&D Director, this role will execute innovation, core expansion and continuous improvement projects to advance our hydration solutions. The ideal candidate combines hands-on formulation expertise with technical leadership, capable of presenting data-driven results to technical and non-technical partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in food science or related field highly desired.
• 6+ years of progressive growth experience in food or supplement CPG.
• Strong technical expertise in beverages, powder mixes, flavor design and development.
• Experience with scale-up, product commercialization, and QA collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of innovation flavors for core portfolio expansion.
• Plan and execute stability studies and analyze data for product updates.
• Collaborate with QA to develop raw material and finished product specifications.
• Design experiments to evaluate variables and optimize performance.
