AngelList in New York City and San Francisco is seeking a Product Design Lead to guide design across multiple brands. You will build and lead a design team, raise the quality bar, and define discovery practices to connect products across the ecosystem of private markets.

You will mentor designers, shape product vision, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver elegant, user‑centric financial experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as Product Designer in complex domains.
• 2+ years in a formal management role.
• Systems thinker with strong interaction and visual design skills.
• Mentoring and developing other designers to raise craft.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a player‑coach on a lean design team, partnering with cross‑functional teams to build thoughtful product experiences, and recruiting, leading and developing a small team of elite designers.
• Elevate AngelList’s capacity for high‑quality interaction and visual design across complex financial systems.
• Deeply understand AngelList customers, using research and insights to clarify problems and deliver great design solutions.
