Job summary

HighLevel is seeking a seasoned product analytics professional to own metrics for our platform. The role emphasizes building tracking from scratch, defining success metrics, and leading experimentation to prove impact.

You will collaborate with engineers, product leads, and executives, translating complex data into clear actions. Strong SQL and Python are required; Snowflake and dbt experience is a plus. This is a hands-on analytics role at a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product analytics or data science with ownership of product metrics.
• Set up tracking from scratch and decide which user actions to record.
• Defined success metrics for a new product and obtained leadership agreement.
• Skilled in designing and interpreting experiments (A/B tests).
• Strong SQL and working-level Python.
• Bonus: experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Comfortable working with messy data and deriving insights.
• Able to communicate with diverse stakeholders, from engineers to CTOs.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in product analytics or data science, where they owned metrics for a product and didn't just run reports for others.
• Has set up tracking from scratch. They decided which user actions get recorded, not just queried tables someone else built. This is a big differentiator.
• Has defined success metrics for a new product and got leaders to agree on them.
• Understands experiments (A/B testing). They know how to test whether a change truly caused an improvement.
• SQL (strong) and Python (working level).
• Bonus if they've used Snowflake and dbt, which are common data tools.
• Comfortable with messy data. They work around imperfect data instead of complaining or rebuilding everything.
• Can talk to anyone, from an engineer to the CTO, and adjust how much detail they give.

Nice to have:

• Has measured AI, chatbot, voice-bot or LLM features.
• B2B SaaS, CRM or product-led growth companies.
• Has used Statsig, Optimizely, Eppo or a similar experimentation tool.
