We are hiring Lead Process Engineers to drive the technical development, design integration, and execution of projects in our industrial market (Renewable Fuels, Mining and Minerals, Semiconductor, and Process Industries) across North America. In this role, you will serve as the process discipline lead on pursuits and projects, guiding treatment process selection, developing process design packages, and coordinating closely with mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and construction teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and constructible solutions. This position is ideal for an engineer with 10 plus years in spanning one or preferably more of these markets, who thrives in a design-build/EPC environment, values participating in the construction and commissioning of their designs, enjoys solving complex treatment challenges, and can translate process engineering into practical, field-ready designs.

The Kiewit Water Engineering team, which includes process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and control, structural, and civil disciplines, is a multi-faceted division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on collaborative Design-Build (progressive and/or fixed price) and EPC delivery models for complex projects. The team brings project solutions to life across North America in the following areas: renewable natural gas, green hydrogen, mineral processing, brine processing, geothermal power, semiconductor fabrication, biomass gasification and combustion, semiconductor fabrication, and more. Clients are turning to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to lead and manage multi-disciplined design teams to work together to improve schedule, track design progress, control costs and minimize risk. We are a high performing team of engineers and designers that leads the water engineering process and collaborates with Kiewit’s construction teams to approach construction-driven engineering with a focus on safe, cost effective, and innovative designs, all working to develop the best possible delivery of projects to our clients.
This role will be based out of our Lenexa, Kansas, Lone Tree, Colorado, or Houston, Texas office. We do provide relocation assistance.
Options for remote locations near other Kiewit hubs in Dallas/Fort Worth may be considered for Senior level candidates with 10 plus years experience that have subject matter expertise in the markets in which we work. Position may require up to 25% travel on average based on project demands.
Base Compensation:$130,000-$190,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
