HDR, a leading employee-owned architecture and engineering firm, seeks a Managing Principal to lead its Philadelphia studio. This role provides strategic vision, leadership, and profitability for the office, guiding project delivery and client service across the region.

You will work with regional Principals to shape business practices, grow client relationships, manage teams and budgets, and ensure alignment with HDR's standards and policies while advancing design excellence in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of previous management experience.
• Professional architectural registration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Service- and client-focused mindset.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision, leadership, and profitability for the Philadelphia office.
• Lead the office and collaborate with regional Principals to implement sound business practices.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new projects in the region.
