Job summary

Cano Health in Kendall, FL seeks an experienced physician to deliver patient care in a busy primary care setting. You will perform comprehensive exams, elicit histories, diagnose, order tests, and counsel patients and families on health and disease.

You will supervise clinic staff, manage patient care on shift, and coordinate referrals while maintaining timely medical records. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with a valid unencumbered license to practice.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; must maintain active certification.
• Federal and State DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a family practice/managed care setting.
• Supervise and direct clinic staff during shifts.
• Document charts and encounters within 24 hours.
• Coordinate referrals and transitions to specialty care as needed.
• Participate in clinic protocol development and training.
