St. Tammany Health System seeks a physician to provide leadership and medical direction for its Physician’s Network. You will influence standards of care, assess and treat patients in line with accepted medical practice, and help maintain clinic schedules per contractual agreements.

Applicants must hold a Louisiana Medical License and current BLS/ALS certifications with ALS requiring manikin check-offs. This role is based at St. Tammany facilities in Covington, LA.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.
• Current BLS and ALS certifications through ILCOR-accredited courses (e.g., AHA, Red Cross) are required.
• The ALS course must include a manikin check-off as required by the specialty.

Responsabilités

• Provides leadership and medical direction for St. Tammany Physician’s Network.
• Provides input in the development of standards of care.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients at St. Tammany Physicians Network in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical care for the specialty.
• Maintain clinic schedules as noted in contractual agreement.
