Job summary

Arandell in Wisconsin seeks a Lead Pressman for a 3rd shift (11PM–7AM, Sunday through Thursday). You will oversee production, quality, waste, and safety for assigned press, maintain records, and lead a crew through changes in folding formats and makeready.

Responsibilities include achieving color accuracy, performing preventive maintenance, reporting issues, and training staff. Strong press experience and own tools required; HS diploma or GED essential.

Qualifications

• Lead pressman experience on offset web presses.
• Prior 2nd pressman experience on the same equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Must supply own hand tools for maintenance and setup.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve acceptable register and color across runs while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance and weekly lubrication of the press.
• Provide timely reports on press issues and coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running.
• Maintain accurate press operation records, load tags, makeready procedures, and logs.
• Set up folders for different folding formats and ensure proper delivery to bindery counts.
• Train crew members and participate in problem solving and quality improvement teams.
• Follow safety rules and maintain confidentiality in pressroom operations.
• Maintain customer relations attitude toward visitors, customers, and employees.
