Gan Academy Preschool in Denver is seeking an Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our small, one-classroom program. You will plan lessons for 3-5 year olds, foster healthy emotional development, and build meaningful relationships with families in our close-knit community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and development milestones.
• Understanding of safety and sanitation in classrooms.
• Strong written and verbal communication with parents and families.
• Calm, friendly, reliable demeanor in a classroom setting.
• Familiarity with Teaching Strategies Gold / Creative Curriculum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons targeting specific skills and concepts for 3-5 year olds.
• Develop and maintain a fun, educational curriculum for 3-5 year olds.
• Create an inviting, nurturing environment in the school.
• Encourage peer interaction and help resolve conflicts.
• Organize nap and snack times and supervise children for safety.
• Support children’s development and communicate with parents.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom in line with health standards.
