Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a Lead Teacher to coach peers, implement the curriculum, and create a nurturing classroom where children thrive. You will engage with families and support center-wide goals around enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.

Qualified candidates have 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience, a CDA credential or candidacy, and CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain. Bachelor's in ECE preferred. This role is on-site in Somerville, MA.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in progress.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners.
