Job summary

Children of America, Inc. in North Aurora, IL is seeking a Lead Teacher to implement daily lesson plans and ensure a safe, structured learning environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

You will collaborate with a team of educators, communicate with families, document child progress, and lead classroom instruction using COA's Mind and Body Matters curriculum while modeling empathy and professional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare setting
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily lesson plans
