Qualifications

• Associate degree in early childhood education (ECE) preferred
• CD experience or coursework highlights are acceptable alternatives
• CDA or comparable credential is acceptable with HS diploma
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and DCFS requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead development of age-appropriate lesson plans in collaboration with staff
• Supervise and guide students to foster safe, inclusive play
• Maintain communication with families about child progress
• Collaborate with assistant teacher and support staff to execute daily routines

Education

Associate degree in ECE

Associate degree with CD hours

High school diploma + 1 year CD experience + 30 college credits (CD/ECE)

High school diploma + CDA certification
