Job summary

Learning Care is hiring Lead Teachers to guide enriching, hands-on learning for preschoolers and to mentor fellow teachers. You’ll ensure developmentally appropriate activities while upholding licensing guidelines and center standards.

We value energetic, dependable candidates who can balance indoor and outdoor activities, foster family relationships, and contribute to a positive, engaging environment for children and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and support the center’s success.
