Ivybrook Academy Bala Cynwyd is seeking a Preschool Educator to join our progressive Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired program for children 18 months to five years old. Our school opens in Fall 2026 and follows a ten-month calendar.

The role emphasizes a nurturing environment, family communication, and collaboration with staff. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Education and have early childhood experience, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and presentation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in an early childhood education setting is required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive classroom community that values respect and a love of learning.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safe, nurturing preschool environment for students and families.
• Lead daily implementation of emergent, Montessori and Reggio-inspired curriculum with support from leadership.
• Maintain communication with families regarding student progress.
• Develop and maintain individual student portfolios and document observations.
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student growth and attend professional development sessions.
