Qualifications

• One year of preschool classroom experience required.
• Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implement The Creative Curriculum, Trueway Kids, and Maryland Early Learning Standards.
• Prepare intentional, play-based weekly lesson plans for development and readiness.
• Lead large-group, small-group, and individualized learning experiences.
• Maintain organized, labeled learning centers and Documentation of Learning displays.
• Observe and assess children using various methods and portfolios.
• Individualize instruction using assessments and family input.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field

Current Maryland teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field combined with a qualifying Maryland Child Care Credential Level 5 or higher or MSDE-accepted accreditation qualification
