KinderCare in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Education teacher who leads, coaches, and mentors teammates, delivering KinderCare's curriculum while honoring each child's unique needs. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn, building strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy are considered (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare’s curriculum to meet each child’s unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff to reach enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service, strong organization, and the ability to multi-task across situations.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift minimum of 40 pounds; work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
