Job summary

New York Preschool & Kids Club in New York City is seeking a dedicated Certified Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a 3's classroom using the Tools of the Mind Curriculum. You will create engaging, play-based lessons and guide social-emotional growth to build a solid early foundation.

The role requires NYS certification and 2+ years of lead teaching in Pre-K or Kindergarten, with a 8:00 am–4:00 pm schedule during the school year. Competitive salary and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in ECE or a related field (required)
• Certification: NYS Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification (B-2 or 1-6) (required)
• Experience: 2+ years of lead teaching experience in Pre-K (2-4 year olds) or Kindergarten

Responsibilities

• The Architect of Learning: Use the Tools of the Mind Curriculum as the foundation to build engaging, play-based, experiential lessons for 3–4 year olds.

• The Developmental Guide: Support the whole child physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
• The Family Partner: Build trust with parents through daily updates and home-school connection.
