Job summary

Playschool Daycare and Preschool Inc seeks a Preschool Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. You will plan age-appropriate curriculum, foster social and emotional development, and build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, aligned with PFA standards.

You will lead daily plans, support early childhood development, and collaborate with staff to maintain high educational quality in a licensed Oregon center.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Step 7 or higher in Oregon Registry (ORO) is required.
• Registration with ORO is required.
• CPR (infant and adult) and Safe Sleep training are required.
• 15 hours per year of Early Childhood continuing education.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in children.
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to families.
