Arizona Sunrays Learning Center in Phoenix is seeking dedicated teachers to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom where every child feels seen and supported. You will bring the active learning curriculum to life through play, exploration, and movement.

We value social, emotional, and cognitive growth, teamwork, and continuous development. The role offers ongoing training, leadership pathways, and a welcoming work family in a movement-rich environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher with childcare credentials.
• CDA/NAC/CCP/CPC certifications are preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in ECE or related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification and AZ Fingerprint Clearance required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and keep up with active children.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom where every child is seen and supported.
• Bring our active learning curriculum to life through play and exploration.
• Lead movement, dance, and outdoor activities to energize daily routines.
• Support social, emotional, and cognitive development with caring interactions.
• Maintain licensing and Sunrays safety standards in collaboration with the team.

What You’ll Do

• Create the Magic: Foster a safe, inclusive, and fun classroom where every child feels seen and supported.


• Dig In: Bring our active learning curriculum to life while letting kids explore their own unique ideas.


• Lead the Way: Guide playful activities indoors and out—from movement and dance to ninja and more!


• Cultivate Growth: Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through creativity and care.


• Own It: Partner with your team to maintain high licensing and Sunrays safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• A High School Diploma & 6 months in a licensed childcare facility OR


• NAC / CDA / CCP / CPC OR


• 12 total credits (6 in ECE) & 6 months child experience OR


• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or a closely related field (no experience necessary!)


• AND


• CPR/First Aid certification & AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.


• Strength & Agility: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and keep up with active kids all day.
