Job summary

The Goddard School of Chester Springs is seeking a Lead Pre-K Teacher to guide a classroom, delivering developmentally appropriate activities and fostering a love of learning. You will implement the Wonder of Learning curriculum and partner with families to support each child.

This role requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in Education or Early Childhood Education, at least five years in childcare or education, and a commitment to high-quality, play-based learning in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Five years of verified experience in childcare centers or education.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Education or Early Childhood Education.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members.
• Completion of state-required pre-service training.

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Create a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment.
• Build strong relationships with families through clear communication.
• Support children’s social-emotional growth using positive guidance.
• Observe and document development to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and leadership.
• Maintain health, safety, and licensing standards at all times.
