Qualifications

• We need a PhD in biology or related field, or MSc with substantial relevant experience.
• Experience developing and applying predictive models for biological targets or cellular phenotypes.
• Strong programming skills in Python and data analysis libraries.
• Hands-on experience with multimodal datasets (RNA-seq, proteomics, CRISPR screens).
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and translate research questions into workflows.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom and hybrid work with UK site collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and application of predictive models to evaluate target tractability and safety.
• Design hypothesis-driven experiments and computational tests to validate target biology.
• Integrate genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and functional data.
• Translate biological questions into clear computational plans and deliver pipelines.
• Provide timely, evidence-based recommendations to project teams for go/no-go decisions.
• Mentor colleagues and promote best practices in model validation and reproducibility.
