Job summary

The Hughston Clinic seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for surgical patients on the unit during shifts. The RN ensures standards of practice, directs team members, manages supplies and equipment, and promotes collaboration among health care professionals.

Qualifications

• GA RN License in good standing
• 1 year of Pre and Post Op nursing experience
• Experience in Orthopaedic setting preferred
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Basic education required for state RN license

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care for the assigned patients on the unit.
• Manage personnel, supplies and equipment on the unit to support care.
• Promote collaboration with all members of the health care team and ensure patient safety.
• Document care accurately and participate in perioperative communication and planning.
