Job summary

Little Legends Learning Center, Inc. in Champaign, IL is seeking a full-time Lead Pre-K Teacher to guide a class of three-, four-, and five-year-olds. You will develop engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans with your assistant teacher and supervise the children to foster safe, inclusive play.

Hours are Monday–Friday, with pay of $18–$20/hour plus a sign-on bonus. You will communicate regularly with families about progress and implement daily routines, including dressing, diapering/toileting as

Qualifications

• Associate degree in early childhood education (ECE) or equivalent.
• CDA certification or related child development coursework may be required.
• Experience or coursework in child development is preferred.
• Strong communication with families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Guide the educational direction of each class and develop age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Supervise children to ensure safe, inclusive play and learning.
• Prepare meals adhering to dietary restrictions and manage daily routines.
• Maintain communication with families about child progress and needs.
