Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor classmates, delivering high-quality early education and care. You will implement our curriculum and create a safe, engaging environment that supports children's development and confidence.

You will partner with families and center staff to meet enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals, while building strong community ties with licensing authorities and local partners.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC cand idacy requirements.
  • Approved state trainer (preferred).
  • 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
  • Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
  • Approved state trainer (preferred)
  • 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
