A progressive preschool is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team in Virginia. The Lead Teacher will foster the intellectual and emotional development of children while maintaining a safe educational environment. Responsibilities include mentoring Assistant Teachers, planning engaging activities, and conducting assessments. Candidates should have a CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and a strong passion for children's well-being. This position offers an opportunity to impact young lives positively and work collaboratively with families.

Formación

• 2+ years’ experience in a teaching capacity and lesson planning.
• Ability to create and maintain a safe educational environment.
• Experience with the Creative Curriculum®.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the safety and well-being of each scholar.
• Engage scholars in activities that stimulate development.
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers effectively.
• Plan and implement daily activities compliant with curriculum.

Educación

CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
