Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in electric power systems with a focus on protection.
- Demonstrated expertise in protection principles, relay applications, and power system modeling.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, testing and validation of advanced protection schemes and relay applications.
- Serve as technical authority for relay settings, coordination, testing, and commissioning support.
- Provide guidance on complex protection projects and mentor engineers across experience levels.
- Deliver technical training to internal teams and external customers on protection concepts and new solutions.
- Represent SEL as a technical expert in industry forums, publications, and conferences.
