Job summary

Blue Metric Pools is seeking a Lead Pool Technician to own the route, perform high-end pool service, and manage digital tools like Pool Brain and WaterGuru. The role includes daily field servicing, precision chemical dosing, and minor repairs across premier vacation rental properties.

You will drive schedule with one weekend day, coordinate with ownership, and help scale the team as routes expand. A focus on hospitality, precision, and professionalism is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years solid pool service experience; high-end residential or vacation rental preferred.
• CPO certification preferred; if not certified, company pays for course within 90 days with a raise on passing.
• Comfortable with digital tools such as Pool Brain and WaterGuru.
• Self-directed, reliable and detail-obsessed; run the route independently.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Florida heat.
• Commitment to precision, hospitality, and professionalism for guest pools.

Responsibilities

• Daily field service to resort-level standards.
• Review WaterGuru readings and perform precision chemical dosing.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, seals, timers, salt cells, and filters in the field.
• Maintain routes, jobs, and service data in Pool Brain and WaterGuru.
• Complete bi-annual maintenance inspections and tag equipment.
• Inventory management of chemicals and supplies.
• Act as in-field point of contact and coordinate with ownership.
• Coordinate additional technicians as routes grow and improve processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose tech-forward solutions.
