Job summary

All Pro Plumbing, Heating & Air in California seeks a skilled Lead Residential Plumber to manage installation projects from start to finish. You will install water heaters, fixtures, and piping while mentoring apprentices and coordinating with HVAC and electrical trades on multi‑trade jobs.

You must have a minimum of 3 years’ residential plumbing install experience with leadership experience preferred, along with a valid driver's license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing install experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of water systems.
• Knowledge of plumbing diagnostics, re-pipes, re-drain, leak detections, and water heaters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee residential plumbing installation projects from start to finish
• Install and replace water heaters, tankless water heaters, plumbing fixtures, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, and sinks
• Perform whole-home re-pipes, water line replacements, and drain re-pipes
• Install dishwashers, garbage disposals, water filtration systems, and other plumbing-related appliances
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure compliance with local plumbing codes
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
• Clean drains, remove obstructions, and repair or replace damaged pipes and fixtures as needed
• Train and mentor apprentice and junior installers
• Communicate effectively with homeowners regarding project scope, timelines, and recommendations
• Collaborate with HVAC and Electrical professionals on multi-trade projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company vehicle
• Complete required documentation and job-related paperwork accurately
