Job summary

Legacy Reno is seeking a skilled Plumbing Installer to join our team. You will install plumbing systems and fixtures in new construction, remodels, and existing structures, following local codes and safety regulations.

The role requires reading blueprints, measuring and cutting pipes, testing for leaks, and communicating clearly with customers and teammates. A minimum of 2 years' experience is preferred; Journeyman license is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Installer (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Journeyman Plumber license preferred, but not required for highly experienced installers.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations (Salt Lake City and Utah codes).
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial projects.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine layout and procedures.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble pipes; perform soldering, threading, or gluing as required.
  • Ensure installations meet local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Perform pressure testing and leak checks; troubleshoot problems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
