Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is assisting an established civil engineering and land surveying firm in Orange, CA to recruit a California-licensed Professional Land Surveyor to lead surveying projects and grow the survey department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor ready to advance into a leadership role. The successful candidate will oversee complex boundary analysis, maps, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and construction staking; manage projects from start to finish;

Qualifications

• Active California PLS license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional land surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of boundary surveys and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Proven ability to manage projects and lead technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead boundary analysis, mapping, and resolution of surveying issues.
• Manage projects from start to finish: budgets, schedules, quality, profitability.
• Prepare and oversee subdivision maps, ALTA/NSPS surveys, records of survey, topographic surveys, legal descriptions, and lot line adjustments.
• Supervise field crews and coordinate with project managers and technical staff.
• Direct construction staking, calculations, and as-built surveys.
• Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
