Job summary

WM in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Plant Operator to coordinate daily plant operations, improve production, manage inventory for safety, and help maintain costs under supervision.

You will enter finished goods, order supplies, assist workflow, and ensure compliance with safety regulations; the role offers on-site hours and potential growth within a large, people-first company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited).
• No experience Four (4) or more years previous plant experience (in addition to education requirements)

• Under general supervision, coordinates and conducts daily plant operations and maintains inventory for safety and operation supplies.
• Conducts daily production activities; enters finished goods into inventory; orders supplies as needed.
• May assist with the coordination of workflow and assignments.
• Investigates, reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Creates and submits weekly and month end reports as requested.
• May provide support and direction to less experienced plant employees.

I. Job Summary

Pay: The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $19 - $21. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
