Job summary
Lehigh Hanson Inc. is seeking a Lead Plant Maintenance Mechanic for our ready-mix concrete plants in the Huntington area.
You will oversee maintenance across multiple locations, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to keep operations running smoothly. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, prioritize repairs, and support reliability and safety initiatives with plant and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial plant equipment and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Experience coordinating maintenance across multiple locations and leading priorities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and preventive maintenance best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance activities across multiple ready-mix plant locations to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on plant equipment and systems.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and prioritize repairs.
- Perform maintenance and repair on ready mix concrete trucks as needed.
- Partner with plant and operations teams to drive reliability and safety improvements.
