Thomas Mechanical & Fire Protection is seeking a Level III Pipefitter to lead and execute complex piping projects across the Upstate of South Carolina. The role requires reading detailed drawings, coordinating fitters, and ensuring code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pipefitting, welding qualifications preferred, and strong leadership and safety focus. Travel to various sites is required; work mainly on construction projects with competitive pay and benefits.

Formación

• Journeyman-level pipefitting experience (≈5+ years) required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Welding experience and certifications preferred (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW).
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Proven leadership ability to supervise crews.
• Commitment to site safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair piping systems.
• Interpret complex blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs and specs.
• Lead pipefitting crew in Foreman’s absence.
• Mentor Level I & II pipefitters.
• Maintain tools and work areas in safe condition.
• Maintain documentation of work and materials.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, OSHA).
