Candidate should have a mechanical or structural engineering degree and 2+ years in construction, piping analysis, and AutoCAD/Revit usage. Knowledge of ASME B31 and related standards is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is required.
• 2+ years knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, materials and applicable standards.
• Experience with MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• 2+ years experience with Pipe Stress Analysis, CAESAR II or NozzlePro.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping and structural analysis under supervision using hand calculations and software.
• Evaluate sustained, pressure, displacement, and occasional loading requirements.
• Review loads on equipment nozzles and suggest reconfigurations.
• Develop installation details for piping supports and anchorage.
• 2D/3D CAD detailing of supports in AutoCAD drawings/models.
• Interface with project teams, clients and vendors.
• Provide technical responses and documentation to stakeholders.
