Qualifications

• Graduate PA program with licensure in California.
• 3+ years as a Physician Assistant with clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with physicians, staff and patients.

Responsabilités

• Obtain detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and coordinate referrals.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging and therapies as appropriate.
• Provide continuity of care for complex illnesses under physician supervision.
• Educate patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance.
• Facilitate referrals to health and social services when needed.
• Ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
• Mentor or precept new physician assistants within the department.
• Participate in quality initiatives and research projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
