• Provide continuity of care for complex illnesses under physician supervision.
• Educate patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance.
• Facilitate referrals to health and social services when needed.
• Ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
• Mentor or precept new physician assistants within the department.
• Participate in quality initiatives and research projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
